Self-promotion and solicitations are banned. Posts should focus on admissions-related discussions, questions, and advice. Any content that could be construed as spam or offering services will be removed.

Before you post: Rule 3 explicitly bans 'solicitations' and 'offering services of any kind'. Providing a link to a personal project or product would likely fall under this.

3. No spam or solicitations.: Spam and solicitations are not permitted on r/ApplyingToCollege. This includes surveys and polls, YouTube videos, chat links, and offering services of any kind. 4. No chance-me posts.: Chance-me posts, where you provide your information and list of schools and ask about your chances of admission at those schools, are prohibited.

7. Do not post personally identifying/sensitive info: Do not post sensitive or unethical information. This includes essays, personally-identifiable information, or questions about lying/cheating the process.
8. Shitpost Wednesdays: All tongue-in-cheek, fluff, and generic shitposting must be reserved for Shitpost Wednesday. Wednesday is defined in US Eastern Time.
