Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion and advertising are not allowed. The subreddit is strictly for anime memes, and posts must be OC or meaningfully enhanced. Reaction memes are only allowed on weekends.

Before you post: Rule 14 explicitly states 'No Spam or Excessive Advertising: No advertising or excessive self-promotion.' This prohibits sharing side projects or products.

The rules, in their words

1. Post Animemes: This subreddit is devoted to anime memes (animemes). These are memes that use anime and/or are related to anime / weeb culture. Please check the [extended rules](https://www.reddit.com/r/Animemes/wiki/extendedrules) for more detailed descriptions of each rule.
2. No Insubstantial Edits: Unedited anime clips, screenshots, manga pages, panels, plain text, non-OC fanart, comics, etc. will be removed. Further edits that fail to meaningfully enhance the original media are not allowed. 3. Reaction Memes: Reaction memes are only allowed on weekends (Saturday and Sunday [UTC time](https://time.is/UTC)). They are defined as "*Any situation described in text followed by an image(s) showing that situation or the direct results of that situation.*” See [here](https://imgur.com/a/fdZjG72) for examples of violations.
4. No Reposts: • No reposts of any previous submissions to the sub. Minor edits to posts (see rule 2) count as similar reposts and will be removed. • No chain posts. • Deleting and resubmitting your own content still counts as reposting. In order to report a repost correctly just click 'Other' and type: "repost: [link to the original post]"
5. The Meme Shadow Realm: Posts that follow formats included on [the MSR wiki page](https://www.reddit.com/r/Animemes/wiki/shadow_realm) are banned. Check the explanation there for more details on how memes get added, or removed.
6. Post Quality Standards: A post may be removed if it has poor image quality: * Is not properly cropped * Has hard to read or unreadable text * Is too small or has poor image quality * Contains intrusive watermarks or bot-scraped captions
7. Post Title Standards: A post must work without its title. Additionally the title should not be generic, or otherwise uncreative.
8. Properly Mark Spoilers: Properly mark any spoilers. For posts, use reddit's spoiler tag. Titles must not contain spoilers and should be formatted like this: " [Name of Series Spoiled] Title of Post " For comments, use the spoiler tagging formats: \>!Hidden Text!< OR [Visible text]\(/s "Hidden text") If you're spoiling as-of-now unadapted source material (manga, LN, etc.), please specify that. Also, keep in mind same-day content from an episode of any currently airing anime is subject to extra scrutiny.
9. Be Nice: • Do not personally attack, name-call, deliberately spoil, bully, troll, bait, or harass other users. • Do not encourage suicide, promote sexual violence, or advocate self-harm. (Doing so will result in a minimum ban of 7 days) • Do not post sexist, racist, homophobic, or transphobic content. • Do not make posts or comments that deny atrocities. • Do not organize, promote, or encourage brigades. • Do not post shock images or links to shock sites. • Do not make posts about recent tragedies.
10. No Current Politics: No images, videos, discussions, or arguments about current politics. We don't allow posts that depict, or mention any active political figures, or templates that might be associated with them. This is regardless if the post itself is political, or if the politician isn't American.
11. NSFW Guidelines: Nudity and dominantly lewd posts are not allowed, but content linked in comments is fine as long as it's identified as NSFW.
12. No lewd Loli/Shota content: We will remove any posts, comments, or links that appear to be in violation of [Reddit's policies on sexualized minors](https://www.reddithelp.com/en/categories/rules-reporting/account-and-community-restrictions/do-not-post-sexual-or-suggestive).

14. No Spam or Excessive Advertising: No advertising or excessive self-promotion.
