Just your everyday occurrence in Russia
Don't launch hereSelf-promotion or “I made X” posts get removed or banned.
Can you post your project here?
This subreddit focuses on sharing gifs, videos, and pictures of everyday occurrences in Russia and surrounding areas. Posts should be civil, related to Russian or Slavic culture, and avoid politics, gore, hateful stereotypes, memes, reposts, or fake content. Specific phrases like 'Meanwhile, in Russia...' are also prohibited.
Before you post: There are no rules explicitly allowing or mentioning self-promotion or 'I built X' posts. Given the focus on authentic daily occurrences, promotional content would likely be removed.
The rules, in their words
- Keep it civil. Don't be cyka.: [Be excellent to each other and party on.](https://i.imgur.com/sKM9BQD.png) Other than that first and foremost, we ask nothing more than treating each other with respek. [Because repek is important](https://i.imgur.com/W64MEHj.mp4)
- Content must be related to Russian or Slavic culture: Content doesn't have to be strictly Russia. Post Soviet regions are fine, or something you'd expect slavs to do.
- No politics.: There are many places where we can discuss the politics of Russia, but this is not one of them. The reason for this is that every single thread would divert into the same political arguments, and we'd never get to discuss the fun shit that is going on in the posted content.
- No NSFL content! No Gore.: No NSFL content, there are plenty of other subs for Murder/Death content.
- No prejudice: Posts should recognize quirks of daily life in this region, not demean or promote hateful stereotypes.
- No memes
- Avoid reposting submissions.
- No photoshops or obviously fake content. Lets keep this realistic. There are other subs for that.: No photoshops or obviously fake content. Lets keep this realistic. There are other subs for that.
- No "Meanwhile, in Russia..." or "in Soviet Russia...you." It gets horribly overused here.: No "Meanwhile, in Russia..." or "in Soviet Russia...you." It gets horribly overused here. In Soviet /r/ANormalDayInRussia, post deletes you.
