Post with careYou can post, but there are rules to clear first.
Can you post your project here?
If you share your own content, you must also post the ingredients and recipe steps in a comment. Your own content should not exceed 10% of your total posts, and you need to engage with the community.
Before you post: Must include ingredients and recipe steps in a comment. Content should be 10% or less of total posts. Engage with the community.
The rules, in their words
- Be nice to each other!
- ALL submissions must also post a full list of ingredients and the recipe steps in a comment.: All posts MUST include the ingredients and recipe steps in a comment. The point of this subreddit is to help others make quick and easy food - there are plenty of subreddits for nice food pics.
- No excessive self-promotion.: Sharing your own content is fine, but please try not to post your own content every single day, and DO engage with people rather than posting and disappearing. Reddit's own suggestion is that '10% or less of your posting and conversation should link to your own content'.
- Respect the subreddit name!: We can let it fly if it's up to 20 minutes and people like the recipe, but anything over 20 minutes is a definite no-go. People come to this sub for a reason.
- Food - NOT DRINK!: People come here for 15 minute food, not 15 minute drinks. Recipes for smoothies, lassis, and fancy coffees are not allowed.
- No videos: Direct links to YouTube or any other video platform are not allowed. Whilst there are many brilliant 15 minute food videos out there, the sub becomes full of excessive self-promotion and spamming, often by people who are not regular members of the community. Links to videos are allowed in the comments but not as the main post.
